The types and sizes are determined by the pressure of the system and the flow rate. 2. Modular - these are mostly used with modeling and pressing machines and are integrated with valve sub-plate in hydraulic power units.
3. Sandwich - these are very flexible and it can be used as single unit or in part of the hydraulic oil connection. Most of the times these valves are sandwiched between a direction control and a sub-plate in order to connect better with the pipe system.
4. Cartridge - they are made with sleeves, spring and sealing rings. Valve is inserted into a cavity when all the parts are assembled. The cavity helps protect the parts suitable heavy machine usage.
